The town of Kalomo, in the Southern District of Zambia, is the hub for a large medical missionary outreach program, and the Namwianga Christian Hospital is a critical part of the enterprise. Although the hospital has a room that was especially designed for an x-ray machine, for many years, it did not have the funds to purchase one. This meant that patients had to travel for several hours to access the closest equipment. The Caris Foundation has now provided the hospital with a highly-reliable Q-Rad machine that serves the people of the entire southern region.
