Dr. John Bailey, a retired Doctor of Dental Medicine, travels extensively throughout developing countries providing medical and dental aid to those who cannot afford it. In Belize, the Caris Foundation sponsored him on a medical mission trip to Belize City and nearby villages. The Broken Arrow Church of Christ from Oklahoma organized the trip, and Caris provided Dr. Bailey with funds for travel expenses and supplies. Because of the makeshift nature of these clinics, there are limited dental facilities. Dr. Bailey spends most of his time removing teeth and dispensing antibiotics and pain control medications.
